WB Post Office Recruitment 2023 – Educational Qualifications
Education – Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects)
Compulsory knowledge of Local Language – The candidate should have studied the local language i.e. (Name of Local language) at least up to the 10th standard [as compulsory or elective subjects].
Other Qualifications: Knowledge of computers, Knowledge of cycling, and Adequate means of livelihood.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for the Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) as BPM/ ABPM/ Dak Sevak posts is 40 years and the lower age limit is 18 years.
Salary
Name of the Post Salary
BPM Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 29,380/-
ABPM/ DakSevak Rs.10,000/- to Rs. 24,470/-
Selection Process
Applying candidates will be selected selection as per the automatically generated merit list as per the rules based on the candidates’ online submitted applications.
No weightage will be given to higher educational qualifications.
Only marks obtained in the 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals will be the criteria for finalizing the selection.

For all candidates, the application fee is Rs.100/-
All female candidates, SC/ ST candidates, PwD candidates, and Transwomen candidates are exempted from the payment of a fee.
