TN MRB Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Passed the two-year Ophthalmic Assistant course conducted, by a Government Medical College or any other institution recognized by the Directorate of Medical Education; or

A two-year diploma in Optometry conducted by a Government Medical College or any other institution recognized by the Directorate of Medical Education and passed the three-month condensed Para Medical Ophthalmic Assistant course conducted by the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Chennai or any other institution recognized by the Directorate of Medical Education.

Age Limit

Minimum Age Limit –

For all categories/ Differently Abled Person/ Ex-Servicemen – 18 years

Maximum Age Limit –

For SC / ST / SCA / BC / BCM / MBC & DNC – No Maximum Age Limit

For all categories (OC) – 32 years

For Differently Abled Person (OC) – 42 years

For Ex-Servicemen (OC) – 50 years

TN MRB Recruitment 2023: Salary

Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/- (Pay Matrix Level-11) Per Month.

TN MRB Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

Selection for Tamil Nadu MRB Ophthalmic Assistant Jobs 2023 will be made based on the marks scored by the candidates in their academic and technical qualification(s) for the post of Ophthalmic Assistant duly following the rules of reservation and communal rotation issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu and satisfaction of the qualification and other conditions stipulated in this Notification.

There will be no oral test (Interview) for TN MRB Vacancy 2023.

As per the TN MRB Notification 2023, the selection will be made for the Ophthalmic Assistant post, duly following the relevant rules of reservation and communal rotation of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
